BarcodeChecker is a software for scanning and checking bar codes on tickets at events. With BarcodeChecker, you will not worry about the status of pirated tickets or illegal ticket copying.

Big events always require a large number of tickets to see and each ticket needs some form of protection to avoid being copied or printed illegally from other objects to gain illicit profits. There is a software that will help you protect your tickets, which is BarcodeChecker.

Note: This installation includes TicketCreator and BarcodeChecker.

BarcodeChecker gives you a useful tool to help you manage the ticketing process, this barcode scanning software will help you check and verify each ticket of the event attendee,

To ensure validity of the ticket, the software will print a random and unique barcode on your ticket. Depending on your preference, it could be Code 39, Code 2, or QR code. Besides barcodes, BarcodeChecker also includes 10 random numbers that act as a password protection. You can use your own number sequence by importing information from a CSV file or regular text.

If using a computer to scan, copy the BarcodeChecker file to the computer, open the BarcodeChecker software, click Scan and open the created BarcodeChecker file.

If using multiple computers, copy the BarcodeChecker file to the server and all machines in the system. After opening the BarcodeChecker software on the server, click Scan, open the BarcodeChecker file and connect the remaining machines to the server.

If using a smartphone to scan, copy the BarcodeChecker file to the server, open the BarcodeChecker software on that machine and click Start Server and then open the BarcodeChecker file. The next step is to start opening the BarcodeChecker application on your phone and connect to the server.

Scan barcodes from other sources (Excel file or guest list .)

First create an Excel file with barcodes, containing the name and type of ticket. The name will be displayed when the ticket is scanned and the ticket type can help limit access (for example, only a VIP ticket can enter 1). If your Excel file does not have a barcode (for example, the name of the person invited), you can create the code yourself (select Extras, then select Create barcode list ) and paste it into Excel file.
The next step is to save the barcode as an Excel, CSV or text file. You can skip this step if the ticket already has a serial number.

During scanning, if you are using a computer, open the BarcodeChecker software and click Scan. Open the Excel, CSV or text file or enter the serial number then save the BarcodeChecker file, and finally open the BarcodeChecker file.

If you use multiple computers, the steps will be similar, but instead of opening the BarcodeChecker file, you must first open Excel, CSV, text files or enter the serial number and save the BarcodeChecker file, copy that file to all both machines then scan. For smartphones, the operation is similar to the scan in the above section, but you must also add the steps to open Excel, CSV, text files or enter the serial number and save the BarcodeChecker file.

In addition, you can also use the webcam to scan the code, but make sure about the light, the focus of the camera and remove the auto focus mode . Usually a scanner is simpler and more reliable than a webcam.
