Virtual reality application just released Disney Movies VR

Disney has just launched a virtual reality application on Steam for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, a collaboration between HTC and Valve Corporation. Disney Movies VR brings a real world experience to Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm themes, along with the ability to interact with some of the favorite characters in the natural world. Viewers can choose from a variety of scenes in Disney titles like The Jungle Book, Captain America: Civil War or Star Wars: The Force Awakens and even become part of the story.

This app will allow you to interact with characters from The Jungle Book, fly with Jakku in Star Wars: The Force Awaken and stand on the spacecraft as it flies past Avenger Tower in Captain America: Civil War. The comments of the first users were quite mixed, while The Jungle Book gave a good experience, Star Wars felt like it was only made from 360-degree videos. Some also believe that the user interface is quite good and anyway, with this first virtual reality application, we can fully expect higher quality products from the big Disney giant in the near future.
