Gpg4win

Gpg4win allows users to send emails and files securely thanks to the support of encryption and digital signatures. Encryption will help protect the data content from being read by others. The digital signature ensures that it will not be modified and will display the sender's name correctly.

Gpg4win is the official GnuPG distribution source for Windows and supports both OpenPGP and S / MIME (X.509) encryption standards. Gpg4win is free and open source software.

OpenPGP & S / MIME

Gpg4win supports both OpenPGP and S / MIME (X.509).

Configuration of the root X.509 licenses was created simply by Gpg4win. Now even inexperienced users can start using S / MIME. Security system administrators should read the step-by-step instructions and make a list of trusted X.509 licenses for the entire system.

GnuPG's powerful algorithm

Gpg4win is the official GnuPG distribution source for Windows and provides the high encryption standards of GNU Privacy Guard. GnuPG follows the algorithm recommendations as well as the key length of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

To create OpenPGP and X.509 licenses, Gpg4win uses the key length of 2048 bits by default. RSA is the default algorithm for signing and encryption.

SmartCard

Gpg4win supports the use of SmartCard for OpenPGP and S / MIME.

Manage licenses with Kleopatra

Safe and convenient license management

Kleopatra is the license management tool in Gpg4win. Kleopatra allows managing all licenses (OpenPGP and S / MIME) in a single tool.

Validate the OpenPGP license

Use Kleopatra to authenticate (sign) a public OpenPGP license of a trusted person. Therefore, these licenses will be marked as "trusted certificates".

System requirements:

• Outlook GpgOL plugin is compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007. Does not support Outlook 2010.

Important : Currently, the GgpEX Windows Explorer plugin only works with 32-bit Explorer. It is possible to use 32-bit Explorer on some 64-bit Windows. A 64 bit update is in progress. All GpgEX's encryption features on 64-bit Windows can be accessed from Kleopatra's file menu (for example, File> Sign / encrypt file).
