Torpark 1.5.0.7

A group of privacy advocates has just launched the Torpark browser with the ability to erase all traces of users while surfing the web.

The Torapark browser is an open source version of the Portable Firefox browser that has been modified for developers' own purposes. This is the product of a group of experts in the field of security and privacy protection on the Internet. This group is called Hactivismo.

The Torpark group of authors claim that they program this web browser to protect users and want people to be more aware of the issue of privacy on the Internet as more and more data collection technology is available. New users appear on the Internet.

Every minute Torpark browser will automatically change the IP address of the user. An IP address is a series of numbers that is allocated to each PC individually when connected to the Internet. IP addresses can be used in conjunction with some other data parameters to track users. There are many websites that store IP addresses of visitors.

The Torpark browser encodes and sends data through The onion Router - a global server network also known as 'Tor'. This is a network that is set up to transfer data from one system to another randomly. Data passed here to the user's hands.

Data sent on the Internet often carries information such as the place of departure, destination and its route. But if the data goes through the Tor global server network, all the aforementioned information is erased. This means it is difficult to trace back the exact source.

However, being safer also means slower browsing. Torpark's average browsing speed is much slower than normal browsers.

Torpark said that all data sent from the last server in the Tor network to the user is encrypted and recommends that users only send sensitive information such as username. or password when the browser displays a yellow lock.

The Torpark browser interface is almost identical to the Firefox interface. Some of the changes that can be easily noticed are that Torpark displays the current IP address that websites record by the user in the bottom right hand corner and adds a 'Flush Tor' button to change the connection. to another Tor network server.

The results of a test showed that the user of the Torpark browser was sitting in London (UK) but the IP assigned to that PC was located far away in Berlin (Germany).
