After installing and activating 123 Flash Compressor, in the main working interface of the program, you perform the following steps to compress a flash file: Click the Add button on the main menu and select the flash files to be compressed.

- Click the Options button if you want to change the path to the folder that will contain the finished file. A dialog box will appear, allowing you to specify the output directory. Here, you can also instruct the program to automatically shutdown after completing the job.

- Note if the Comment column of the file is 'Optimized' or 'Ready' because the value 'Optimized' means that your file has been compressed to the optimal level and does not need to be compressed. 123 Flash Compressor can only change the size of files that are 'Ready'.

- Once a flash file has been added to the list, you can click it and then click the Remove button if you want to remove from the list of files to be compressed.

- Click on the files to compress and then click the Compress button to make the program reduce compression.

- Finally, open the folder you have set up above to collect files that have been optimized for space.
