Adobe Photoshop CC 2020

Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 is the latest version in the photo editing software suite developed by Adobe. Photoshop CC 2020 gives users the interface, features and new experiences in a modern photo editing program.

Minimum system requirements for using Adobe Photoshop

• Processor: Intel or AMD 64-bit, 2GHz or higher.
• Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (64-bit),
  Microsoft Windows 10 update 10/2018 (64-bit) v1809 or higher.
• RAM: 2GB or more (8GB recommended.
• Graphics Card: Equivalent to nVidia GeForce GTX 1050; NVidia GeForce GTX 1660 or Quadro T1000 recommended.
• Hard disk space: 3.1GB for installation (cannot be installed on disks using uppercase & lowercase file systems).
• Screen resolution: 1280 x 800 at 100% with 16-bit color and 512MB or more for dedicated VRAM, 2GB recommended.
• OpenGL 2.0
• Connect to the Internet to register, activate products and access other online services.

Note:

• This image editing tool no longer supports 32-bit versions.
• Does not support Windows 10 versions 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709 and 1803.
• Disable 3D features on computers with less than 512 VRAM.

Store documents in the cloud

With the advent of Photoshop on iPad, users can now use documents across the cloud to work across platforms from desktop to iPad. Documents are saved to Adobe 'cloud' as you work.

Saving your creative work as a document on the cloud gives you the following exclusive benefits:

• Access files seamlessly across devices.
• Use one file in all Adobe products.
• Updated files continuously and safely.
• Works offline.

Improve the previous settings

Discover a collection of new textures, gradients, patterns, shapes and styles easily. The previous settings are now more intuitive, so it's easier to use and organize.

From the menu bar, go to Window> Swatches, Gradients, Patterns, Shapes or Styles . Now you will have:

• New modern default presets like gradient, pattern, shape, style.
• Dashboard dedicated to gradients, patterns, and shapes.
• The ability to manage presets by arranging them in groups. Just drag and move them to sort and change the order in the tables.
• Features drag gradients, vignettes, patterns and create effects from the Presets panel into the canvas.
• A preview on the canvas when you click through the presets to try out different styles.

You can still access familiar old settings by turning on the Legacy Presets option in the context menu.

New object selection tool

Use the new Object Selection tool to automate complex selections better. Just define an area and Photoshop will do the rest.

You can access the Object Selection tool at the following locations:

1. In the main Tool panel in Photoshop, stay in the same group as the Quick Selection tool and the Magic Wand .
2. From the Tools panel in the Select And Mask workspace.

Consistent conversion behavior

Transform any aspect ratio without using Shift key. Photoshop 2020 has changed and improved the following conversion behavior:

• The default transforming behavior is now scaled by component ratio for all class types and objects, indicated by the Maintain Aspect Ratio button (icon Link) in the ON state in the Options bar.
• To change the default behavior of changing to non-proportions, just click the Maintain Aspect Ratio button to turn it OFF .
• The Shift key when pressed now acts like a 'switch' for the Maintain Aspect Ratio button. If the Maintain Aspect Ratio button is ON , press the Shift key to turn it to OFF .
• Photoshop now remembers the latest variable behavior - scaled or not - it will be the default transforming behavior when you start using Photoshop the next time.

If you want to go back to your old transformation tasks, from the menu bar, choose Edit> Preferences> General , then Legacy Free Transform .

Improved property sheet

Find more essential controls right in the center. Easily change document settings, access all type layer settings and conveniently use Quick Actions.

Convert Smart Object to layer

Easily convert Smart Objects back into component classes to better refine the design - all in the same place, without having to switch between multiple document windows. How to do the following:

• Right-click> Click Control > Smart Object , then select Convert To Layers from the context menu.
• At the menu bar, choose Layers> Smart Objects> Convert To Layers .

Advanced Transform Warp

Customize the Wrap tool even more. Add control points anywhere or split the image with a customizable grid system to convert the work into larger intersections or selections. With the Wrap tool, you can now:

• New options for preset cell sizes: 3 x 3, 4 x 4, 5 x 5.
• Create custom sized cells as desired.
• Add grid lines and anchor points.
• Delete grid cells.
• Select and drag multiple anchor points.
• Undo step by step editing a Wrap.

To try this tool, choose Edit> Transform> Warp .

• New shortcut:
  • Use the ~ key (under ESC) to switch between drawing and erasing on the same brush head.
  • In the Layers panel, Alt + click on a layer to zoom in on it.
