Part 1: How to rip DVD to video / audio

Step 1: Add the DVD

Insert the DVD into the computer's DVD-ROM drive, launch the program and press the Load DVD button to start uploading the file. You can also import ISO file, IFO file or DVD folder to convert. If you want to convert all DVD titles to one large file, just click Merge into One File to combine the added files.

Step 2: Select an output format and folder

Click the Profile button and select the format you want from the drop-down list. Under Profile is Output . Here, you can browse the computer to find a better destination directory for DVD Ripper to save the converted movie. This software will support all popular audio and video formats, including: MP4, MOV, MKV, WMV, AVI, FLV, MP3, WMA, WAV, M4A, etc.

Step 3: Add metadata for DVD movies

Click the Find Info button at the top of the main window, a window will appear and allow you to search the DVD movie's metadata information. All you need to do is enter the movie name and click the Search button to start searching the metadata.

Step 4: Start to rip the disc

Once you have selected the output file format, be ready to start the ripping process. Simple, just press the Start button to allow the software to start converting DVDs. The rip time will vary depending on the quality and length of the movie. Wait until the conversion is complete and click Find Target to get the converted video file.

Part 2: How to edit DVD movies

Once your DVD file has been successfully downloaded, you can use this software to edit, combine and trim DVD movies. You can access all available editing functions by clicking the Edit or Trim buttons in the menu bar.

Step 1: Video clip

You can create a custom clip from a large screen. To adjust the length of the clip, move the slider to select the start and end points you want.

Step 2: Cut the video

Here, you can drag and move the rectangle over the video to set the cut area or enter the correct cut value. Meanwhile, you can zoom in or out, change the video aspect ratio and rotate the video. This way, you can remove black borders from DVD movies.

Step 3: Add effects

Click the Effect tab and you'll be able to adjust brightness, saturation, contrast, apply various effects and a number of anti-fragmentation options.

Step 4: Add a watermark

In the Watermark tab, you can import image watermarks or create a text watermark to personalize your videos. To add a text watermark, select a watermark at the bottom of the preview screen and enter any text you want into the space. To change the font, simply press the T icon to the right of the text input field. You can also adjust the transparency and position of the watermarks horizontally and vertically.
