How to play the game Artifact is quite simple, similar to the classic card game series Trading card. You will build a deck of cards from the collected cards, either by buying each card individually or buying the whole package on the Steam Market place, then use the deck to defeat the opponent one by one.

As mentioned above, Artifact is developed based on the DOTA 2 brothers. However, the difference compared to many other general card games is that you will deploy troops on 3 lanes guarded by the turrets. At the end of the table, each lane will exist as an independent table. The winner is the one who destroys a structure called Ancient - which appears after the watchtower is destroyed, or the first one to destroy both towers.

Each deck contains 40 cards, including 5 heroes and at least 9 items. Currently the game has a total of nearly 300 strategic cards for you to collect and trade. Cards are classified into 3 rarity levels: Common, Uncommon and Rare; Is distinguished by 4 colors: red, green, blue and black. Each type will have its own effects on the table.

Each lane has an independent mana pool, which is used to create hero power and gain 1 point after each round. In addition to the hero's abilities, item cards are also placed and used freely in any lane. Every time the card is played, the attack will be launched towards the opponent. After all the cards have appeared in the lane, heroes and weak creeps as well as many other mobs cannot be directly controlled or revived every round, they automatically attack anything on the opposite side, covering including the opposite tower if there are no military guards. This is repeated until all three lanes are deployed, then transferred to the 'shopping stage' - where gold accumulated in battles is used to buy items, upgrade equipment for heroes in 3 slot: armor, weapons and accessories.
