After downloading the Audiobooks from Audible app on your iOS device from the App Store, users can immediately log in with an existing account to listen and read books instantly. This free app is characterized by the most comprehensive audio book experience ever.

Log in

The first time you launch the application, users will have the option to log in with their personal Audible account by selecting "I'm already using Audible" or if you don't have an account, you can choose "I'm new. to Audible " .

Use personal library

Use the library as a mobile bookshelf. All titles of audio books purchased on the Audible site are available for listening from the My Library screen in the Audiobooks from Audible application.

Listen to audio books

Audible titles for listening support will be found on the Device tab of the book library. Sync titles to the device via iTunes on the PC will be found on the iTunes card. Simply touch the title of the book you want to hear. For titles that are broken down into different sections, tap the title of the title first, then tap Part.

Control the listening and reading part:

Audiobooks from Audible player provides users with a simple reading control system to listen to audio books, such as play, pause, jump every 30 seconds, create new markers, sleep timer , diverse reading speed and the ability to navigate smartly by each chapter or bookmark created. The timeline screen displays your current book listening position in a chapter. First, touch the tweak bar to activate them. Similarly, you can slide your finger forward, towards the timeline to speed up the page jump.

Switch between reading and listening mode with Whispersync for Voice

Users can easily switch back and forth between Audible audio books and Kindle books without losing track. Whispersync for Voice feature will synchronize access to audio books and Kindle books on cloud services. All you need is a free Kindle and Audible reader.

Specifically, with Whispersync for Voice, users can read books on any Kindle or Kindle app, then switch to listening to audio books from Audiobooks from Audible for iOS.

In addition, you can continue listening to any Audible audio book without losing your position through any Whispersync for Voice enabled device. Listen on Audibooks from Audible and continue listening on other mobile apps on arbitrary device .

If your Whispersync for Voice enabled device accesses the Internet, the location of audio books, bookmarks and notes will be saved between all devices. In the Audiobooks from Audible application, before listening to the book, you can touch the settings icon in the left corner of My Library and tap the device location sync. After the sync is completed, you can continue listening to your audio book.

Remove downloaded audio books

Audible titles on the device will be found on the Device tab of the My Library. To remove a downloaded booklet, swipe your finger from left to right on the header to open the delete option. Touch the delete button and touch the confirmation.

Removing a booklet will not remove the booklet from your personal library or Audible account, but only the downloaded file from the device memory. You can reload this booklet from the Cloud tab on the My Library screen.

Alternatively, you can touch the trash icon and touch the red minus button so that the downloaded title is removed from the device.

If you wish to completely remove a purchased book from a personal account, please contact customer care. Once completely removed, you cannot access to reload the purchased book unless the book is redeemed.

Tip: you cannot remove audiobooks from the iTunes card through this application. They are only removed by iTunes on the computer.

Adjust the reading speed

Users can adjust the reading speed of Audible audio books. Implementation process:

• On the player screen, touch the reading speed option.
• Touch your favorite reading speed (for example 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x).

Tip: titles synced via iTunes will not provide the option to adjust the reading speed. If you would like to do this, please use the integrated music player on your mobile device.

Create and annotate bookmarks

The bookmark creation function allows users to bookmark their current listening position , similar to bookmarking a real book. While listening, touch the create bookmark button to add a new bookmark. You can tap the created bookmark center to add an arbitrary note.

Besides, users can also add or edit notes at any time by touching the 'chapter and bookmark' button. Bookmarks are stored in tags of the same name.

You can touch any bookmark to go to the corresponding location in the audiobook. To edit a bookmark, select the Edit button in the right corner and touch the bookmark you want to insert a note or edit again. Delete a tick by selecting the red minus icon.

Adjust the settings

The setting screen allows users to set properties in the Audiobooks from Audible application. From the My Library screen, touch the settings icon in the left corner. The set includes:

Log in / out: use this option to log in or log out of your account when needed. When logged out, you have comprehensive access to the titles that have been internally downloaded to the device. You will constantly receive badges and book listening statistics, however, they do not affect your personal Audible account.

Refresh library: touch the Refresh Library button to refresh the entire library on the account you are logged in to. Depending on the total number of titles you have in the library, this process can take several minutes.

Sync device location: touch the Sync Device Position button to synchronize the reading position, bookmarks and notes between Whispersync for Voice-enabled devices.
