Auto Shutdown 3.6.1A - Add-ons for Firefox

Auto Shutdown is a useful Firefox add-on for users who want to set the computer to shut down after downloading data.

To install Auto Shutdown on Firefox, visit here, click the Add to Firefox link and proceed with the normal installation as with other addons. However, to use Auto Shutdown, your version of Firefox must be version 3.0 or higher.

After installation, to activate the shutdown, go to the Tools menu > Add-ons to open the Auto Shutdown addon list management window. Here you will see the list of addons with Auto Shutdown addon, click on Options to adjust settings for shutdown. Auto Shutdown window appears, you are provided with three different cards

- Manage : Allows you to set a number of download-related features such as: hide the program icon when Firefox is in download, the timer before shutdown, turn on the sound when the download is complete. If you install the DownThemAll add-on, you can enable the program that supports downloading with this utility, but if not, you can cancel the checkmark before this option.

- Shutdown : Here you can set the option for shutdown by Auto Shutdown. You can adjust the countdown time before the shutdown since Firefox no longer does a task (or in other words idle), customize for Firefox to be able to save webpages turn on before shutdown so that when restarting the system can be accessed again, warning before turning off FireFox.

- Customize : Here you can see the command line shutdown of Microsoft Windows operating systems (not updated to Windows 7) so far, from which you can set the shutdown right on the desktop through the shortcut to the command line.

Once you have agreed with your settings, you can click the OK button to confirm.From here, when your Firefox is idle, your computer will automatically shut down without you having to mess around with it.
