Before starting the "Scan and Repair" process, the scanner will update the virus definition file (VDF) and scanning tools. If Internet connection is not available, the scanner will use VDF and the current signature from the ISO file.

During the scan, the total number of files scanned will be calculated. Depending on the number of compressed files like ZIP and RAR, the scanning process may take some time.
