Belvedere

After booting, the Belvedere icon will show permanently in the system tray. To open the main interface of the program and set action, just double click on this icon.

At the Folder tab on the main interface, click the + icon below the Folder column, browse to the folder you want to apply automatic file sorting. Next, you click on the selected folder name from the Folder column, click the + icon in the next column with the purpose of assigning the action to the files contained in the folder.

In the Create a rule dialog box, describe the action in the Description section. Next, select the number of actions you want to apply in item 1 (select ALL if you want to apply all, or choose ANY if you want to apply only one of many actions). You choose the file arrangement (by name, format, size, creation date, .) in section 2, select the attribute (containing words, not containing words, containing one of the words, .) in item 3 , type the keyword corresponding to the file arrangement and attribute in item 4, select the action you want to perform in item 5, check the Overwrite and Compress options in section 6 if you want to overwrite (in the case of file names duplicate) and compress the file. Finished, click OK .

For example, if you want to automatically move the entire .doc file on the desktop to the 'Bai viet' folder on drive D. First, click the + icon below the Folder column, browse to the desktop folder. Next, click the + symbol near the Edit Rule button to open the Create a rule dialog box, select All at item 1, select Extension at item 2, select at item 3, type doc format at item 4, select Move action file in section 5 and browse to the 'Bai viet' folder on the D drive in the next folder.

Note: You can combine file classification by many different criteria (for example, by sorting by format and by file size) by selecting ALL in item 1, clicking the + symbol next to Section 4 to add classification criteria.

Back to the Folder tab, you can easily enable or disable an action by selecting the action corresponding to the folder you want to apply, clicking Enable to activate, or clicking Disable to disable.

Similarly, you can assign multiple actions to the same folder or assign actions to many other folders. Once completed, open the Preferences tab, set the period of time to automatically check and categorize files in Sleeptime (in milliseconds, 1000 milliseconds = 1 second) and click Save Preferences .

Not only does automatic sorting, Belvedere also automatically cleans out the trash data for you. On the main interface of the program, open the Recycle Bin tab, pre-select the Allow Belvedere to manage my Recycle Bin and Empty my Recycle Bin every options , pre-type the time to automatically 'recycle' in the empty box next to, select continue time unit. Finished, click Save Preferences .
