Bleep has the same mechanism as other IM tools, but the special feature is that it does not involve any external server , the conversation is directly connected between the sender and the receiver. With Bleep, you can send regular text messages or make VoIP phone calls. Voice calls can be made over Wi-Fi or mobile data and are end-to-end encrypted. Because the service has no information on external servers, no one can access the content of your chats.

There are many conversations that you never want to save its history. Understanding that, Bleep gave birth to another type of conversation, whispering. The reason for that special name is because this chat history will not be saved. The message will disappear after being read. Whisper it, read it and it will be erased. To hold a message temporarily, hold the Shift key while typing the message. Images and messages will now be retained for another 25 seconds after being viewed.

In whisper chat mode, screen capture feature will be limited. If you take a screenshot, the name of the person you're talking to will not be displayed because it's hidden. If you forget who you are talking to, you can click the eye to show your friend's nickname, but the screenshot can not capture the conversation because it will be blurred. In other words, screenshots while chatting in whisper mode will only have the speaker's name or chat content obscured and cannot have both at once.

Switching between normal talk mode and whisper mode is simple and seamless, so you don't have to worry about interrupting the story.

To use Bleep, users need to register for an account, in one of three ways: register via email, register with a phone number, or anonymously.With an anonymous registration the user will not be able to save the friends list andthe connection with friends will be made via a QR code or a public key.
