Instructions for use and tips for Cal for iOS:

Create at new account on Cal:

If you have not used Any.do products, please create a new account through the Sign Up button and follow the instructions.

If you already have an account on Any.do, you don't need to create one. After installing Cal, please log in with Any.do, then open Cal and you will see the button connected to Any.do.

However, at the present time, Cal does not support the logout function.

How to sync tasks with Any.do:

If you already have Any.do installed on your iPhone or iPad, press the 'connect to Any.do' button after the installation to see any individual tasks. If Any.do is not installed and wants to sync tasks from Chrome browser or another device, please log in with the same account.

Sync new tasks:

If you add a new task to Any.do, they will appear on Cal if you log into the Any.do account and access on Cal, all data will be synchronized automatically.

Cal limits:

Currently, Cal is designed limited to 5 tasks per day. If more than 5, Cal will suggest users to switch to Any.do.

Cal access the contact list:

Cal for iOS application uses contact information to create a more optimal electronic calendar management experience. Information used to invite friends to the event, allowing you to contact them directly from within the application. If you do not feel secure about your privacy, please check the privacy policy included with Cal service.

Set calendar to display on Cal:

Slide down the weekly view to open the month view, press the setup button. Select the display schedule. Cal will display the entire account set up on your device. Select the calendar you want to view.

How to change the start date of the week:

Slide down the weekly view to open the month view, press the setup button. Select 'Week Start'.Click on Monday or Sunday to start a new week.

How to change the background image for the application:

Slide down the weekly view to open the month view, press the setup button. Then, select the background image option and choose the theme you want to display on Cal. After that, it may take some time to update the image, so don't worry if you don't see the image being changed instantly.

How to change between 12h and 24h mode on Cal:

This feature is set on phones. Access system settings> general settings> date and month> 24-hour format.

How to add an event:

There are 2 ways to add a new event: by the '+' button at the top of the screen or simply by clicking on the 'Free time' area for a day.

To edit the information, click an event you want to change, then click the area to be changed: such as the event name, time, invitation, location, reminder, repeat or notes.

To add a note to the event, please click the event, then press the note button. From here, you can enter notes in the dialog box.

To add a location to the event, first click the event, then select the venue icon. Choose where the event will take place: at home, at the company, at the restaurant . You can use the place name to search for favorite places: such as 'Starbucks in NY'.

To invite people or share an event, use the 'People' widget or select your friends list as soon as you create a new event (e.g. 'Meet with John' to invite John). Once you've selected your guest list, you can contact them from Cal by clicking the name in the integrated contacts. Do not forget to send the invitation after finishing editing the event.

How to delete an event:

First, click on the event you want to delete, then select the trash button. Note, you can only delete events you created.

How to set up the reminder:

Click on an event, then select the bell icon and the time to remind. Then set the date and time you want the reminder to sound an alarm.

To set a default reminder for all events, swipe down the weekly view to open the month view, then select the setup button. Select the default reminder feature. Select the option you want as the default reminder for new events.

How to turn off general calendar notifications and receive notifications from Cal:

To turn off public calendar notifications, go to settings> notifications> calendar and turn off this function.

How to set up a recurring event:

Click on an event and select the repeat icon. You can select daily, weekly, half-week, monthly and yearly deadlines.

How to accept the event invitation:

If you log in with the same Email account and receive an invitation from a friend, this event will be automatically displayed on Cal. Click the Invitation button at the bottom of the screen to view the unanswered invitations.

How to add birthday lists from Facebook to Cal:

First, you need to connect to Facebook in the iPhone setup section and click to add contact list. Then check iCal calendar and make sure that all birthdays on Facebook are turned on. Finally close the Cal application, refresh the program and birthdays will appear.

How to delete Facebook birthday from Cal:

First you need to access settings> Facebook> personal account name> delete account> remove Facebook information. Then go back to Facebook and turn off the Cal function.

Contacts list:

Currently, Cal only supports adding contacts with email addresses. That is why all contacts are not displayed on Cal.

Cal compatible with Exchange and Outlook:

Cal can work with any electronic calendar on the device. To add a new calendar to your device, go to settings> email, contacts, calendar> add account.

How to submit a feature request:

Users can make feature recommendations with Cal publisher. To send feedback right in the application, access the settings and click feedback. Click the write button for us and select submit ideas. Then send an Email with suggestions and features you want to have on Cal in the future.

Users can also access Cal's suggestion system and find out if your idea has been mentioned to vote or post a new idea. You can post a link to your proposal to the Cal community to discuss with everyone and to vote together.
