Troubleshooting black camera screen:

In rare cases, the camera startup fails and the image viewer turns black, this error can occur on all platforms.

How to remove copyright watermarks:

In the image preview screen, click the watermark to open the tag tool, or click Edit and select the tag tool from the list. Select the No Watermark option and close the menu. You only have to do it once, the watermark will no longer appear on the image.

How to use the camera features on Camu:

Automatic timer:

Turn on the Auto Timer function from the main menu. Select the total number of photos you want to take from the on-screen selector. The self-timer feature with a timer will use motion detection technology and will only press the shutter when there is no movement in the camera, which will help you avoid blurred and shaky photos.

You can let the timer keep running and find various shooting poses by waving in front of the camera. When ready, stand still for a moment to take the picture automatically. The flash will blink when the picture is finished.

Blur tool (advanced focus):

Turn on the Blur tool from the main menu. Once enabled, you will see a circle around the focus point, when the circle is displayed on the screen, you can move the blur with your finger and adjust the size of the focus area with drag.

Clear - Clarity Tools:

Swipe your finger up or down on the photo viewer to adjust the sharpness of the photo.

Create collage directly:

Select collage mode directly from the main menu. Camu has 3 main image layouts: 2, 3 or 4 images. You can take a new photo or import from the Photos folder. Camu allows changing filters between shots and with a fixed square image size , suitable for sharing on Instagram.

Manual exposure:

Camu will automatically calculate the optimal exposure (the darkness or lightness of an image). On supported devices, you can manually adjust the exposure by pressing anywhere in the image viewer and dragging the small dot next to the focus circle to increase brightness or down to make the image darker.

Photo and video recording features:

Camu is a simple but powerful camera application on iOS platform, allowing you to take photos and videos with eye-catching filters. Currently, Camu only works in instant preview mode - you take photos, preview and decide to store, delete or share.

To record a video, press the Video button next to the capture button, wait until the screen goes into 16: 9 mode. Now you can switch arbitrary filters and press the shutter button to start recording. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

Split screen mode:

Turn on Split mode from the main menu. In this mode, you can take two photos on top of each other and adjust the display by rotating the center line. Adjust the way the photos work together by sliding your finger on the center line.

How to use Camu's photo editing tool:

Blur the image:

Click Edit and select the Blur tool from the tool list. Adjust the blur area by dragging and moving the focus point with your finger. After saving the image, you cannot blur the image for the second time.

Create a collage photo:

Create a collage by selecting multiple photos from the album and clicking the Collage button at the bottom of the screen. Move photos in each cell to display the most reasonable and use Shuffle button to try new layout. Delete or add a photo to the collage by pressing the back button and delete or select a new photo.

Share full size photo on Instagram:

With InstaFit feature, you can reduce the image size to 1: 1 (square images) and share on Instagram.

Photo tag tool:

Tag tool is used to display the location where you took photos or tag #Camu when sharing on social networks. Click the Edit button, select your favorite tag tool from the list. You cannot change the tag after you've saved the image.

How to insert text into photos:

After taking a photo or selecting a photo from the Photos folder, press the Edit button and choose the text insertion methods from the tool list. Enter a caption or describe the image as you like or press the Slogan button to select a random quote. Change the font style and color from the buttons on the keyboard. Touch the text on the image to correct if desired.
