Compare PDF

Compare PDF helps you compare the content of two PDF files with absolute accuracy, based on three types of comparisons: Word by word (word for word), Char by char (each character) and By keywords (by keyword ).

Normally, in the traditional way to compare the content of two PDF files, users will apply the method of converting PDF into DOC format, and then use the compare and merge documents function available in Word. However, this ' roundabout' style has some inadequacies such as having to use third-party utilities, the format is often changed, font errors, take a lot of time . So, the effective solution rather than using Compare PDF (CF).

Besides PDF format, the program also supports comparing both TXT file contents and directory structure.

Compare PDF User Guide:

In the main interface, go to the File menu and select the New file comparison command (Shift + Ctrl + F). In the left and right windows that appear, you open the source and target documents (documents to compare) through the icon in each corner of the window.

Once the file has loaded, the program will automatically perform a comparison with the default type of Word by word. The results are displayed in four colors marked with the content (words / phrases / paragraphs), namely: red (for deleted content - deleted), blue (added content - added) , green (content modified - modified) and white (no content changes - unchanged).

If you are not satisfied with the results, you can choose the Char by char or By keywords comparison mode, by visiting the Compare menu and selecting the corresponding command (or clicking the icon in the toolbar).

For a more general view, click the command button and select Advanced report so that the program opens detailed statistical tables with clear annotations in the form of a web page (HTML) containing a lot of useful related information such as : File format, path, file size, execution date, number of lines with content added, number of lines deleted, number of lines modified, total percentage changed .
