DblClicker - Click to duplicate tab on firefox

When browsing the web, to access a link on the content of the site without affecting the current viewing website, you can right-click the link and select 'Open in New Tab' to open the link. It's on a new tab, and you can keep reading the content on the current web page.

With the DblClicker add-on, you can do even more with just a double click. This add-on gives you the following functions:

  • Double click to open the link in a new tab.
  • Double-click a website in the Firefox Bookmark list to open a website in a new tab.
  • Double-click a website in Firefox's History list to open a website in a new tab.

The newly opened tab will appear separately and will not affect the website you are viewing.

Note: By default, after installing this add-on, when double-clicking on an open tab, Firefox will automatically duplicate that tab. This will affect the functionality of the add-on installed above.

To change the function when you double-click on an open tab, from the Firefox interface, select Tools -> Add-on . Click the Options button for the recently installed DblClicker add-on.

The DblCLicker preferences dialog box appears. In the Double-Click tab actions , choose None (to not perform any function when double-clicking on an open tab), or Close Tab (to close the tab when double-clicking on it, equivalent to the function of the add-on Close Tab by Double Click).

Finally click OK to save the settings.
