1. First, choose one of three countries: Moltony Republic, Anderass and Yuvark Union. After that, you choose one of 3 challenging levels including easy, medium and hard in each country.
2. When you enter the world of Defense of Fortune 2, your castles will appear on the map. Enter your castle and build facilities to grow the kingdom.
3. Players can organize their units on the Formation screen. You can organize 5 troops first and can organize up to 12 troops when moving to a higher level.
4. You should set Battle-macros for units deploying on Formation, can set up optimal strategies by mixing conditions and executing commands like 'Use skill first when facing enemies', 'Restores itself when HP drops below 50%'.
5. Once prepared the appropriate power for the battle, the player can invade the enemy's castle. At this point, the match will be performed with the sodier set you have set on Formation and all matches will automatically take place.
6. If the enemy's castle returns to zero or the opponent's resources are completely depleted, you win and the castle belongs to you.
7. Sometimes, your castle will be invaded by enemies due to protection with weak defenses. If you don't focus on protecting, you will lose the castle.
8. The tavern is one of the places to gather and rest for heroes throughout the continent in the castle. You can go to the Tavern, meet and recruit heroes with lines and puzzles. Recruited heroes can affect your base positively or activate powerful offensive skills in battle.
