Desktoday for Mac - Tidy up your Desktop

Desktoday is the first free software that is always available on the toolbar at the top of the Desktop screen. The only action you need to do if you want to clean your Desktop is to click the application's icon and select Clear Desktop. Desktoday will then move all the folders and files on your Desktop to the Documents folder corresponding to the name with the current date.

Interestingly, you can also set many exception options so that Desktoday automatically leaves certain folders or files on the Desktop. Also in the preferences panel of this application, you can choose the destination for the data to be moved. One advantage of Desktoday is that it automatically gives you quick links to these destination folders right on the main menu - an advantage over Clean.

Finally, Desktoday also allows cleaning up the Downloads folder, which stores the download data from the default Internet of Mac OS X. However, this tool is not really appreciated by all those. Desktoday also only moves data from Downloads to another location you specify.
