Setting

You need to log in to Google Drive, then add the following components: Editey, HTML Editey to create HTML files on Google Drive, JavaScript Editey to create JavaScripts files on Google Drive, CSS Editey to create CSS files on Google Drive. These components can be found from the Chrome Webstore and store many beautiful file icons for them on Google Drive. You can see the image below to easily find and connect them.

Some note

• Editey allows hosting the website on Google Drive but serves it from your custom domain name.
• This feature is restricted to Google Apps users.
• It is a little difficult to map your Google Apps domain to Editey, so follow the steps below carefully.

Step 1:

Log into the Google Apps dashboard and open the App Engine Apps module. You can find this module in the More Controls section .

Step 2:

Clicking on the App Engine Apps module will bring you to a new page, with the ability to manage additional services hosted on Google App Engine.

Because Editey runs on Goole App Engine you can add it by clicking on the appropriate link or buttons.

Step 3:

To add Editey as a new service to your Google Apps domain, enter floreysofteditey in the Other services section and select Add it now . After that, it will take you to the confirmation page to activate the service.

You enter the new URL to map Editey to the desired domain or subdomain.

Google Apps allows adding domains or aliases to Google Apps domain names. This will allow you to map Editey and the published site to the desired address. At that time, the CNAME versions may have to be revised a bit.

Make sure your domain ownership is verified properly by Google.

Step 5:

Editey only allows the publication of a verified domain name. This prevents others from publishing the website with your domain name.

• Go to Google Webmaster Central and make sure the domain name appears in your account.
• You are now ready to publish webpages hosted on Google Drive to this URL.

Step 6:

Simply click Publish website in the File menu and enter the URL you just mapped.

You can choose any verified domain name and publish your website to any link in the domain. This will allow hosting of multiple websites on one domain.
