eXPressor - File compression software

Your computer has a relatively small hard disk capacity and you want to save maximum or you want the programs in your computer to run faster. Come with eXPressor, the .exe file compression program is super strong and retains file format.

This is the only program that compresses the .exe file without encrypting it so you can run the program on your computer normally without fear of errors or having to type the password every time you run the program.

After downloading and extracting, double-click the icon, immediately the eXpressor-PE compressor window will appear.

In the Target section, click the Open key and perform the options in the Open pop-up to find the file you want to compress. After selecting the file to be compressed, click Open to return to the main working window of eXpressor-PE compressor.

Note that you can only compress files ending in .exe and .dll formats - alone .dll files you need to be careful about when compressing because many files after compression is complete, the program will not run, because It is recommended that you make a copy of the file before you compress it - so that if the program doesn't work after compression, use the other copy file to restore the status.

If you don't know the path to the file you want to compress, but there is an Icon of the file on the Desktop or the program you want to compress is open, you can drag the Icon or its executable file directly into eXpressor without having to through the middle step of the selection in the Open pop-up.

After you have selected the file, proceed to adjust the options to choose the best and safest compression type.

1- Compression Compression Options section , you have three compression to compression, drag the slider to the left to lower the compression level and drag to the right to improve compression. Level 1 compression level, the file compression will take place very fast but the compression is not high, you use this compression level for small programs about less than 5MB. Because programs less than 5MB are most often used by their authors, further compression may result in the loss of some code, rendering the program inoperable.

Level 3 compression will help you compress a maximum of a program, the compression can be from 30% to 80%. You use this compression for large programs of several tens or hundreds of megabytes such as Acrobat Reader, Photoshop, Windows Office, Lac Lac dictionary, . these programs besides performing their own functions also contain additional code to advertise, meddle in the Registry (such as counting the number of days used for limited-time trial programs), so eXpressor will help you eliminate these unnecessary code and reduce get considerable capacity for those programs. Level 2 compression is the compression level for all types of programs at any capacity, the compression level is moderate and only applies when compression files at Level 1 and Level 3 do not work.

2- Uncompressing Stub , this section is divided into three options: Light, Full Support, Protection. Light can only compress .exe files, Full Support for .exe and .dll files, and Protection, in addition to compression, has the ability to set a password to protect compressed files. The trial version only supports the Light part.

3- Uncheck the Process all sections at once section so that the program will split the file to compress into many parts and compress each part, so will not miss any unnecessary code such as when not splitting the file That compress.

4- Choose Pack export directory so the program can try compressing it again for .exe files after the first compression to eliminate possible duplicates when compressing the file. Only apply this item to the .exe file

5- Select Cut Dos header to remove the DOS commands contained in the program.

6- Uncheck Automatically add overlay to prevent the program from automatically adding warnings when you later open the compressed file.
7- Remove Handle dll imports so the program allows you to drag-drop the .dll file into its working window.
8- Uncheck Allow MultiPacking to prevent the program from compressing multiple parts at once. This option corresponds to the setting you did in part 3.
9- Select Compress resources so that the program can compress all the source code in the compressed file.

12- Uncheck Silent start to prevent the program from starting automatically when Windows starts.

13- Select Shell meno intergration to let the program check the compressed files and repair errors, this option will make the program run slower but the file compression will be safer.

Note that the terms used here can be confusing, Select = mark to select and Deselect = uncheck to un-select it.
After you have set the optimal parameters, press the key, immediately the program will conduct file compression for you. In the image, the ImageReady program is compressed from 19MB to 5MB or Photoshop compressed from 18MB to only 5MB.

After compression is complete, click Save it / Yes / Yes / OK to complete the process.
