There is nothing worse than opening a file and realizing that it has been corrupted or that the data has been deleted. FileSalvage is a data recovery software that can recover deleted files, recover data from corrupted storage devices and recover lost files from storage devices. There are 3 modes in the application: Recover Deleted Files, Salvage All Files and Explore A Drive. However, the trial version only supports one end mode.

Explore a Drive allows you to perform a thorough scan to locate the lost partition and the files in it. If FileSalvage finds any partitions or files, you will immediately see a file display so you can copy the lost file to a new location. Note that in the trial version, you can preview the files you want to save.

Defect:

• The trial version does not include full restoration
• The scan took a bit long.
