In this 3rd game, the fire boy and the water girl need to deal with ice obstacles and its effects. Fireboy needs to slide quickly on the ice, while Watergirl can only walk slowly on the ice. Help them find their way through temple rooms, use hot flames to thaw, find buttons and handles to open emergency doors.

The gameplay of the Fireboy & Watergirl in The Ice Temple for Android action game is similar to the previous games in the series. Fire boy and water girl must cooperate and help each other to complete all levels.

The two characters will be immune to elements representing themselves (Fire Boy is immune to fire and Water Girl is immune to water). However, both need to avoid contact with the opposite elements. Fire Boy must avoid the lake, but can walk safely in lava and collect red diamonds. Water Girl, on the other hand, has to jump over lava lakes, walk around freely in the water, and collect blue diamonds. However, both characters must avoid the green swamp.
