FocalFilter - Block access to a website within a certain time

With the number of webists today, it's hard to focus on the work if you get tons of website links from emails, Yahoo messages, . with a lot of rich and attractive content. Until you realize you have distracted your current job and spend a lot of time.

There are many software that block access to websites but most of them have to be complicated and time-consuming to set up. FocalFilter is a free software that locks access to websites for a set time without complicated settings.

After downloading and installing, click the program icon to start using. At the first use, the software window appears, you set the time by clicking the drop down menu at Block for.

After choosing a time, choose the Edit My Site List button . An Edit Your Block List window appears, you begin to enter the address of the website that needs to lock access, one address per line. Then click Save to save.

After establishing a list of websites that need to be locked, you will be returned to the original interface of the software. Click the Block My Site List button to let the software start locking access to the list of predefined websites with a predetermined time.

The software does not allow you to turn off the setting to access the web address set before the countdown time is over, if you want to intervene, you only need to visit the path C: WindowsSystem32driversetc and open the hosts file with A simple text editor like Notepad. Then proceed to delete / edit the site name and Save again.
