GearStorm is set in 2185 when the world is doomed. You are taken to an alien planet and are forced to fight to survive and dominate here.

GearStorm is a sci-fi playground that is militarized with a vast open world context. Phage - a deadly nano virus that kills most of the world's population. Therefore, humanity is rushing to find a new home by conquering another planet in outer space.

You are an elite Exomarine, dropped on a strange planet. Not simply survival, you have a bigger ambition than to dominate this place by going to war. Embark on building or digging bases, harnessing resources, partnering with other Exomarine, creating AI clones so they work for you, using advanced weapons and military equipment to defeat other players , hostile species and its inhabitants.

The task of the player is to shoot, compete with other gamers to strengthen your position and ensure the survival of the human race.

In 2185, mankind fell into a disaster of extinction. The Earth became a desert waste type due to being ravaged by decades of fierce and barbaric war. Phage - a deadly nano virus that was accidentally created when humans tried to make biological weapons. It becomes the horror of humanity when turning healthy people into lifeless, bloodless corpses. Outbreaks and epidemics spread like wildfire, infecting both humans and animals, wiping out most of the world's population.

With no other way to correct the mistake, the survivors retreated into underground tunnels, fortified cities and fortresses.

The Earth is almost standing before the end of the world, until a glimmer of hope appears. NASA's Tess space telescope (launched in 2018, in operation for nearly a century) discovered an extraterrestrial world. The probe reported astounding discoveries of a planet tens of light-years away, Apollyon. It is as small as the earth with continents surrounded by vast oceans. These islands show signs of ecosystems, flora and fauna.

This mad rush to desire to escape from this hellish Earth leads to risks and tragic loss. A lot of the trials of sending manned spacecraft to Apollyon failed due to internal problems or mechanical causes. In the act of despair, small, unmanned space probes equipped with advanced biological printers have approached Apollyon, sowing life on the planet.
