GSplit - Software for temporary file splitting

When there are gigabytes of files you want to transfer over the Internet, you will find it difficult because the upload and download speeds do not meet the fast requirements. But if using GSplit to split files, this concern will no longer exist.

GSplit's solution is to split the temporary file, each of which has no packet header and is very small in size. When these segments are delivered to their destination, they will be reintegrated into full files of their original quality, even if the recipient does not have the GSplit installed.

The program window after installation and startup is as follows:

Go to Pieces to install type, file size, file name before proceeding with splitting. The program has 2 types of division: Spanned Pieces and Blocked Pieces. In particular, Spanned Pieces will create a single file that is small in size, but this size may vary depending on the amount of free space on the target storage device. If not, it will notify the disk space needs to be added in the second storage drive . (this applies to removable storage devices). And Blocked Pieces will split the file according to the predefined user size and have a number of options such as: enter the capacity for each unit in any unit, KB, MB or GB . The file name has up to 5 ways, For example, place by number (Piece 1, Piece 2 .), according to the source or put the number 0 before the order number (001, 002 .)

Go to Self-Unite > Properties , check the Add Self-Uniting Functionality to the piece set line.

Then, click on General > Original File > Browse to select the file to be split. Click Destination File to select the folder containing the destination file. Then, press the Split menu. When the splitting is completed, the program will appear a list of log files to record the process. To view the folder containing the files you've just shared, click on the line Open the folder in Windows Explorer . You should see all the files have been split plus a GSplit Self-Uniting executable file. Please transfer to disk or through the Internet in small pieces one by one.

For the recipient, to view a complete file, they only need to receive all the splitting files together with the attached GSplit Self-Uniting file and put it into a certain folder. Double-click this GSplit Self-Uniting file , select the full file path and click Unite . The final file has the same quality as the original. One point to note is that users cannot view the content of each small file because they have no title.
