Error connecting individual Google / Gmail accounts

Before the problem becomes more serious and to save time, users should check that the email address and password entered are correct.

If you are turning on 2-step authentication for your Google account, you need to create a specific application password in your Google account settings as described below.

• Google may lock your account due to Captcha errors (a type of Q&A test used on computers to determine if a user is a human). To unlock Captcha for Gmail or personal Google account, please visit the support link.
• To unlock Captcha for your Google Apps account, check the path and replace "yourdomain" with your corresponding Google Apps domain.
• If you are using a Google Apps account, gTasks HD is designed to work with the new Google Apps platform.
• New and recent Google Apps accounts will be set up under this new structure. At the same time, older Google Apps accounts will be converted to the new category.
• Users can choose to turn their personal Google Apps accounts into new structures on their personal timeline until the automatic conversion date.

Accounts, lists and tasks

The concept of an account that corresponds to a user's personal Gmail or Google Apps account with the synchronization tasks attached. If you do not want to sync individual tasks, you will have a separate virtual internal account. Each account contains lists and each list consists of subtasks.

How to add side quests

Touch the task you want to add subtasks to. Task details will appear on the screen. Touch the "side quest" button at the top right of the screen and enter details for that side quest. To add another side task, tap the "Next" button on the virtual keyboard to operate.

How to turn a task into a side quest and vice versa

• To turn a main task into a sub-task and classify as a priority task in the task list, users need to swipe the task from left to right.
• Swipe the task from right to left to bring the task back to its previous state.
• Note that subtasks are only provided if the task order is manually sorted (finger icon).

How to delete a task

• To delete completed tasks, use the simple touch of the trash icon at the bottom of the screen and select "delete completed task".
• To selectively delete tasks, touch the trash icon and select "selective delete" . A red circle button will appear next to each task, allowing the user to select the task and delete it manually.
• If the task order in the list is different from the manual arrangement, you can swipe the task from left to right and touch the corresponding delete button.

Method of synchronization with Google

• gTasks HD for iOS has 2 methods of data synchronization: manual and automatic. This setting is adjusted in the "automatic sync" section of the gTasks settings section.
• If the automatic synchronization feature is off, the synchronization process is only performed when the user processes by dragging down the task list until the hidden synchronization indicator is opened below the Top bar.
• If the automatic synchronization feature is on, synchronization will be performed immediately upon launching the application or when changing tasks.
