HTC ROM

Please select the corresponding ROM for the phone that you are using, each different ROM corresponds to improving a number of different problems. This is the Unlocked / Developer version for HTC phones.

Attention:

2. HTC One M8 ROM

• Updated lock screen and notification interface, to improve security features.
• Recently used applications will be displayed on multiple pages.
• Add search function in the Settings section.

3. HTC One ROM

The HTC One ROM update version 7.17.1540.7 provides the following important improvements:

• Update to Android Lollipop 5.0.
• Screen lock and notifications: New Lollipop style interface, to enhance security features.
• Recently used applications will be displayed on multiple pages.
• Add a search function in the Settings section.

4. Rom HTC One Max

The HTC One Max ROM update version 4.13.1540.7 adds some features, as well as the following improvements:

• Update to Android Lollipop 5.0.
• Screen lock and notifications: New Lollipop style interface, to enhance security features.
• Recently used applications will be displayed on multiple pages.
• Add a search function in the Settings section.
• Fix security errors with fingerprints.

Steps to perform Update ROM

• Download and save the update file to your computer.
• Connect the device to the PC via a USB cable.
• If the device is not recognized, make sure that HTC Sync Manager is installed, then disconnect and reconnect.
• When the device is recognized, look for the location where the ROM Update file has been downloaded above.Then double click to install.
• Follow the instructions on the computer screen.
• After the update is complete, click Finish and reboot the device.
• After rebooting the device, the initial setup wizard appears.
• Initial setup is complete, open Play Store and tap Menu, then select My apps and make sure all apps have been updated.
• After updating all applications, you can use the device.

Note: If the ROM installer fails to recognize the device, close the installer and follow the steps below:

• From the power off state, hold the VOLUME DOWN button while turning on the device.
• Use the volume button to move to FASTBOOT, then press the Power button to select.
• Connect the device to the PC in this state and try to update the ROM again.

To exit FASTBOOT , use the volume key to navigate to REBOOT and press the POWER button to select.
