Part I: How to rip DVD to video or audio

Simple, just follow the two steps below to convert your home-made DVD to any video or audio format that is compatible with many devices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod, Zune, Apple TV, PS3 , Xbox 360 and more.

Step 1: Add the DVD

Insert your DVD in the DVD-ROM drive in the computer, launch the program and press the Load DVD button to start the file upload process. You can also import ISO file, IFO file or DVD folder to convert. If you want to convert all DVD titles to one large file then select ' Merge into One File ' to combine the added files.

Step 2: Select an output format and folder

Click Profile and select the format you want from the drop-down list. Under Profile is Output , here you can browse your computer to find a better directory and save the converted movies. As you can see, all video and audio formats, including: MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, FLV, MP3, WMA, WAV, M4A are also provided.

If you want to convert DVD movies to play on mobile devices, including: iPhone, iPad, iPod, HTC, Samsung, Nokia, Sony, PSP, Xbox 360, etc., just browse to find the device's logo. and select it as the output format to receive video with optimized settings.

Step 3: Start to rip the disc

Part II: How to edit DVD movies

Step 1: Convert 2D to 3D

This software supports converting and recording 2D to 3D videos with 6 different 3D effects, such as: Red / Cyan, Red / Blue, Red / Green, Blue / Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side. You can set the effect you want.

Step 2: Edit DVD movies

After the DVD download process is complete, use this software to edit, combine and trim your DVD movies. In addition, all editing functions are also available by clicking Edit or Trim in the menu bar.

Trim video

From the Trim area, move the slider below the screen to select the start and end points for the video you want to cut.

Cut the video

Here, you can drag and move the most text on the video to set the cut area or enter the exact position in the Left and Top columns. In the meantime, zoom in or out, change the scale and rotate the video if you want. This way, you will remove the black border from your DVD movie.

Add effects

Hit the ' Effect ' tab and you'll be allowed to adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation, or add some effects to it and apply some anti-screen options.

Add a watermark

In the ' Watermark ' tab, you can enter image watermarks or text to personalize your videos. For text watermarks, select the circle below the preview screen and enter any text you want. To change the font, press the T icon to the right of the text input field. You can also adjust the transparency as well as the horizontal and vertical levels of the watermark.
