InTouch Lock

InTouch Lock (IL) 3.5 is an award-winning technology that helps you lock important system functions easily and quickly. IL provides more than 80 different settings for you to handle, these components can be desktop, folder, file, drive, start menu or IE .

IL interface is designed to be quite intuitive with the following main topics:

1. Shell Card

- Desktop: Disable the desktop (lock actions on the desktop, including right-clicking), Disable changing wallpaper (lock the function to change the wallpaper), Hide the desktop (hide the icons on the desktop), Hide Task Button (hide applications when they are in reduced state), Disable Quick launch Icons (lock applications placed in Quick launch bar).

- Satrt menu: prohibits processing of some functional icons on start menu.

- Explorer: hide the Folder Options menu, lock / hide specified drives.

2. System Card

- General: divided into 3 sub-sections:

+ General: Disable Registry Editor (lock the Windows registry editor), Hide my computer properties (lock the properties of My Computer properties).

+ Display properties: Disable display properties (lock the display function), hide screensaver, settings tab (hide screeensaver card or setting in display properties window).

+ NT security options: Disable task manager (lock task manager), Disable command prompt (lock command window), disable control panel and all its modules (lock the control panel window and its components), disable add / remove programs (lock the function add or remove programs).

- Control Panel: hide components in the control panel.

- Input devices: lock the functions related to keyboard and mouse.

3. Internet Card

- Web: block the IP addresses you want to pre-assign.

- Internet Explorer: lock some IE settings such as disable view the page source HTML (view source lock function), disable file (lock file saving function) .

4. The Files tab

- No access: prohibits processing of specified files / folders

- Read only: assign a read-only attribute to the specified files / folders.

5. Applications tab

- Windows: lock all windows with titles identical to the ones you specify (usually applies to quick software installation).

-Process: lock some background processes in Windows.

- Extra Lock: includes lock software installations (lock the applications installed in the machine), Lock sofware uninstalls (lock the application removal function), system components (My Computer, My Document, Recycle Bin)

Note:

- After checking the components you want to hide or want to hide, click the Apply icon to apply.

- When you want to unlock, uncheck the corresponding object and click on the Apply or Deactive icon.

- For no one to change IL settings, you need to create an administrator password by going to the Tools menu> Settings, entering the password in the Enter Password and Confirm Password boxes, and then clicking OK. To increase the security of the program, you should always tick the option Force to activate protection on Windows startup (kick the IL function right after logging into Windows).

- In addition, IL also integrates a pretty screen lock function, other users cannot log out without entering the set administrator password correctly. You click the icon on the toolbar or use the key combination Shift + Ctrl + L to activate this function.
