Go to Settings (General)> General (General)> Software Update > check and update. If Apple still hasn't sent the update, reboot your device and repeat the above operation. In addition, you can update to iOS 12.1 via OTA and compatible software for iPhone and iPad devices.

Guide to upgrade iPhone and iPod with * .ipsw file

• Download the * .ipsw file that works for your device using the direct download link above.
• Click Update or Restore in the iTunes interface.
• Point the path to the * .ipsw file saved on the computer.

Note that to be able to directly download the firmware of iPhone, iPod directly from Apple:

• Use the latest version of iTunes .
• When opening iTunes, select iPhone or iPod in the Devices section of Source List on the left.
