On the phone today, there are many programs that support creating ebooks, however, their limitation is that there must be a separate application to create stories (on a computer) and a separate application to read stories (on phones).

Therefore, many times when there are good documents and want to turn into ebooks to read on the phone, it will take more time to operate on those specialized programs. With iSilo, you can create ebooks directly from Notepad and read them easily on your phone. Create an ebook:

iSilo works on PocketPC phones. To create ebooks, you can do it directly on your computer from any source. First, go to Start> Run , type Notepad, and then press enter to open the Notepad program.

You copy the contents of other document files and copy it into the Notepad window. You can copy as much ebook content into Notepad as well because compared to the size of other ebook files, the ebook file created with Notepad is always 50-100 times smaller. After you are done, go to File > Save As , in the pop-up menu, select Encoding, select the encoding for the font as UTF-8. In the File Name section, name the file with the extension .pdb (by deleting the word .txt in the File Name box and then writing it back to .pdb). Click Save to save the ebook and bring this file into your phone.

View ebook:

After installing iSilo, go to Menu > Application > iSilo to open it. Note that for eBooks to be readable in iSilo, you must put them in the iSilo folder of the internal memory of your phone (for Nokia phones, go to Menu > Tools > File mgr ., Select the internal memory folder). with the icon, go to Documents > iSilo , if you work directly in the computer that is connected to sync with your phone, go to My Computer > Nokia Phone Browser > Phone model > Phone Memory> Data> Documents> iSilo ) .

The special feature of iSilo compared to other ebook reader-reading applications is the ability to display Vietnamese standard fonts without font errors and formatting in the ebook just like the original document you copied into Notepad. View automatically:

If you read eBooks a few hundred pages long, especially reading stories, every time you turn to the page, you have to press the enter key, it will be very tired and laborious. With iSilo, you can enable the automatic viewing feature so that you can read the entire contents of the ebook without doing any other operation by going to Menu> Tools> Autoscroll. If the phone has a horizontal screen or want to remove the margins to enlarge the ebook content on the screen, go to Menu> Tools> Fullscreen to increase the size of the ebook to the full screen.

Highlight the good paragraph:

If you find that a paragraph has good content and you want to bookmark it for recording, go to Menu> Marks> More> Add Bookmarks . In the pop-up window, enter a name for the content you want to highlight in the Name box, enter a form of note (Document, Local or Global) and click Add to save. In case you do not enter anything in the Name box, iSilo automatically takes the preamble of the paragraph to name it. When you want to review the notes in an ebook, go to Menu> Marks> Bookmarks , in the list that appears, click on the content of your note and then press enter to quickly move to that paragraph. To go to the next note, go to Menu> Marks> Jump to mark .

When viewing notes, to move forward or backward before or after it, select Menu> Marks> Forward or Back . To make a full-page note, select Menu> Mark> Mark Location . Want to edit the notes, you go to Menu> Marks> More> Edit bookmarks and find the part you want to edit. When you need to delete all the set notes, click Clear history .

Similar to other ebook viewer, To quickly view each page, go to Menu> Go to , select Top of Page to return to the first page of the ebook, similarly, select End of page to go to the last page. and.

If the ebook has many chapters, when you need to return to the beginning of the chapter, you choose the Home command. If you want to go to a specific page in the ebook, go to Menu> Go to> Page number and enter the number of pages you want to open. In case you do not remember the number of pages, you can open in% of the total number of pages compared to the entire ebook by going to the Percentage of page and enter the percentage of ebook segments you want to open. To return to the previously viewed page, press the Previous page command.

To increase or decrease the font size when viewing, go to Edit> Options , select Font size , select the size of the displayed text, Relative / absolute select Relative size to increase and decrease the size of different text in the ebook. . Click OK to save the selection. When you are browsing a story and want to find a section where you do not remember the location, then select Menu> Tools> Find , in the pop-up that appears, the Find section, enter the keyword of the content of the paragraph. Select the Yes command in the Match Case so that the program will color for the found part, select the Yes command in the Entire Document if you want to search and mark all the places in the story (if not selected, each time, iSilo will only Find only one place in order). To search by word from top to bottom, Range selects Down , and if you search from bottom to top, select Up , and select Top to Bottom if you want to find the whole story. After finding the first result, press Menu> Tools> Find again to display the second, third results, etc.

In addition, iSilo also has a unique ability that is capable of supporting multi-touch phones. If other applications, the program control when viewing eBooks will be difficult if you want to perform many operations at the same time, iSilo better support for that.
