JabRef for Mac

JabRef is a graphical application for managing database directories. JabRef is designed for you to import and export directory formats. JabRef runs on any platform and requires Java 1.5 or higher.

This new version has:

• Some upgrades to MS Office filtering
• Introducing 3 options to ensure keys are created nicely. Choose the default (marked with a, b, .), an edit option (mark with b, c, .) and always add a character (a, b, c, . )
• The background color and font are both customizable (Options -> Preferences -> Appearance).
• The window title includes the entire path to the current file
• Entries can be marked with a different color set
• Add new feature (Tools -> Scan database . -> Resolve duplicate BibTeX keys) to search for duplicate keys and provide create new keys to solve the problem of duplicate keys.
• Add checks to ensure that the application does not exit while processing the archive. Display the waiting message with the Cancel button
• Adding an asterisk (') as an invalid character in the BibTeX key
• Fix errors in combining external changes - the file will still be reported to be edited outside after merging the changes.
• Correct errors in the move feature, renaming the file link may lead to the wrong link stored in some address book structure
• Fix lock errors when creating keys for entries.
