Request:

• USB port (supports USB 2.0).
• To use the program, users need Administrator rights.
• When using JetFlash Online Recovery on Vista, users need to turn off UAC by following the following instructions: Control Panel => User Account => Turn User Account Control on / off => uncheck the option '' Use User Account Control to help protect your computer. '' Restart your computer to enable this setting.
• When using Windows 7, users follow the following instructions to turn off UAC: Control Panel => User Accounts => Change User Account Control Settings => change to "Never notify". Restart the computer to enable these settings.

Instructions for using JetFlash Online Recovery:

Step 1: Connect the JetFlash USB drive to the computer via the USB port, then run the OnLineRecovery.exe file.

Step 2 : Click on the Repair drive & keep existing data option and press the START button.

Step 3: After the repair process is complete, press the EXIT button and unplug JetFlash USB from the computer.

Step 4 : If none of the above fixes your problem, connect JetFlash USB to the computer. Select Repair drive & erase all data and press START .

Step 5 : Note that all information stored in the JetFlash drive will be erased. Press the START button to confirm and begin formatting the device.

Step 6: After completing the format, press the Exit button, remove the JetFlash drive from the computer and reconnect it again to check.

Step 7 : In case the format process fails, JetFlash Online Recovery will display a message.

Step 8 : If a Please enter product S / N message appears , enter a 10-character sequence of numbers printed on your device.

Step 9 : After entering the S / N number sequence, the total capacity and P / N number of the device will be displayed on the screen, press the OK button to continue formatting the device.

Step 10 : If the S / N code is wrong, the program will send a warning message. If the wrong number is entered more than 3 times, your device will not be locked. In that case, the user should contact the Transcend provider.
