Instructions for use and tips for Jimdo for iOS:

Change personal password

Users need to change the password with easy-to-remember criteria but others must be difficult to guess. You can change your password at any time by following these steps:

• Click setup> account> password in Site Admin.
• Enter current password, new password and re-enter new password to confirm.
• Click save.

Note: the password must be a string between 5 and 20 characters long.

Method to cancel the subscription

For some special reasons you do not want to own a Jimdo subscription anymore, the application allows for easy account cancellation. You can cancel a Jimdo Pro or Jimdo Business subscription by following these steps:

• Log in to your personal Jimdo page.
• Click the help button in Site Admin.
• Click the Ask Us tab at the top of the window.
• Select Billing from the drop-down menu.
• Write a short message to request to cancel this Jimdo page.
• Click send.

How to delete a website

Only the Jimdo Free website can be deleted. If you are a customer of Jimdo Pro or Jimdo Business edition, you need to cancel your subscription before deleting your page.

The Jimdo Free website can be deleted by following these steps:

• Log in to your personal Jimdo page.
• Click the help button in Site Admin.
• Access to account section> delete account.
• Click agree, delete the page Jimdo Page to confirm.

Important note: once you confirm deletion of your account, you cannot return to this step. Entire pages and web content will be permanently deleted from the Internet. There is no way to recover data after it has been deleted. So carefully consider before destroying data thoroughly website.

Connect extended domain names

If you own a domain name registered with another company and do not want to switch to Jimdo, you can connect them to the Jimdo site easily.

To connect that domain to Jimdo, you first need to link the domain name to your Jimdo page.

If you are registering for a new Jimdo site, enter the domain name and select the 'I am the owner of this domain' button.

If you have already registered a Jimdo site, please contact the support team and let them know which domain name you would like to add to your Jimdo account. You can connect an unlimited number of extended domain names at will, but only one domain name is the primary one.

To complete the domain connection, you need to change the server name or add a CNAME content to the registration.

How to create a multilingual website

Jimdo for iOS allows creating multilingual websites easily by editing the page navigation. Follow the steps below to turn the current Jimdo website into a multilingual site.

Suggestions:

You can add instant translation content to web pages with the Google Translate widget. Note that the translation feature of Google Translate is not perfect and may contain errors. If you want a good translation, please do it manually by the translator instead of the machine.

• Step 1: build and create content.
• Step 2: create the main language pages.
• Step 3: create subpages for each language.
• Step 4: add content.

Statistics with Google Analytics

If you already have a Google Analytics account, you can use them to track data traffic on your Jimdo website. Add arbitrary Google Analytics code to your site by clicking setup> applications> Google Analytics.

If you don't have a Google Analytics account and don't want to create one, you can track this traffic through Jimdo's built-in statistics tool.

Note: if you are using Google Analytics to track usage traffic on the Jimdo website, you can view the statistical data directly on the Google website.
