K3b for Linux

K3b (short for KDE Burn Baby Burn) is an open source burning application for Linux. K3b can burn CDs, burn data, image files and backup drives. K3b will surely make movie lovers excited by the ability to rip DVDs in the popular DivX or Xvid formats. At launch, K3b can automatically recognize CD / DVD drives. Like many other burning applications, the K3b main window is divided into sections to display the file system in the computer and the recording content. Creating a CD with K3b is also very convenient as this software accepts all audio formats like MP3 or OGG.
