LastActivityView - Gather information from a variety of sources

LastActivityView is a tool for Windows operating system to collect information from various sources on a running system, and display a log of actions taken by users and events occurring on computer. The operations shown by LastActivityView include: Running exe files, opening windows / saving dialogs opening files / folders from Explorer or other software, installing software, shutdown / starting system, applications or systems, network connections / disconnects and more .

You can easily export this information into cs / tab-limits / xml / html or copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into Excel or other software.

Some limitations:

• The tool gathers information from a variety of sources, including the Registry, Windows log-in events, Windows Prefetch folders (C: windowsPrefetch), Windows minidump folders (C: WindowsMinidump), and many more. more . .
• The accuracy and availability of information displayed by LastActivityView may be different from one system to another. For example, if the user or a software changes in the Registry, the uptime displayed by LastActivityView may be wrong, because it is based on the modification time of some Registry.
• In addition, for all activities / events, there are some restrictions based on the information stored in the system. For example, 'Select open file / save dialog box, if the user opens 2 document files with open / save dialog box, only one final file is displayed.

How to use LastActivityView

• LastActivityView does not require any installation process or add dll files. To start using it, just run the executable file - LastActivityView.exe
• After you run LastActivityView, it scans your computer and displays all actions and events found on the system.
• You can select one or more items and then save them to xml / html / csv / delimited files with tabs (Ctrl + S) or copy them to the clipboard (Ctrl + C), and then paste the data to. Excel or other software.

Translate LastActivityView into other languages

To translate LastActivityView into other languages, follow the instructions below:

• Run LastActivityView with the parameter / savelangfile, lastActivityView.exe / savelangfile, a file named LastActivityView_lng.ini will be created in the folder of LastActivityView utility.
• Open the language file created in Notepad or any other text editor.
• Translate all strings in a desired language. Optionally, you can also add your name or a link to the site. (TranslatorName and TranslatorURL values) If you add this information, it will be used in the 'About' window.
• After finishing the translation, run LastActivityView, and all translated strings will be loaded from the language file.If you want to run LastActivityView without translation, just rename the language file, or move it to another directory.
