Leica M9 Firmware - Fix stability
The Leica M9 Firmware 1.196 continues to address stability with SD memory cards, new 50 mm lens support and power management.
Version 1.196 is notified of updates and amendments, including:
- Continue to improve compatibility with SD memory cards.
- Support for its newly launched APO-Summicron-M 1: 2 / 50mm ASPH lens.
- Improve power management.
- Can measure the battery itself. In case of low stability, the camera will automatically turn off. Using old batteries may lead to hardware problems and display stripes with previous firmware versions.
Note: Along with the new firmware upgrade, Leica also recommends that users replace the battery every 3 years. Some special cases can cause the battery to accelerate the aging process and the time to replace will shorten.
