Note:

To install the APK file from Download.com.vn you need to set up a device that can install applications not located on Google Play. To set up this feature you need to go to Settings > Security > in Device Manager , select the Unknown sources ( Allow installation of applications not from Market ).

Create a LINK account on Android:

When using this program for the first time, users will be required to login or register a new account. You can create a new LINK account using your email address or phone number or log in via your Facebook account.

After logging into the program, you will be asked to create a username (Username), this name is not allowed to coincide with another user and will be used as your LINK ID. The next time you log in, users can use this ID as well as provide your ID to other users to make friends.

Note: When registering an account, users need to select the country code and enter their mobile number (omitting the first 0). Next, the program will send an SMS containing a confirmation code, enter that code and you have completed your registration procedure.

Edit profile on LINK:

Users can edit some personal information such as introduction (About), name, gender, birthday, location, relationship and interests. To edit this information:

1. Access Settings and touch the username.
2. Click the Edit symbol in the right corner to edit the information.

If you want to change your avatar or background image, follow these steps:

1. Visit the profile, touch the avatar or background image.
2. Click Edit in the right corner.
3. Choose Choose Existing if you want to use photos available on your computer or click Take Photo to take a new photo.
4. Crop the image and save the changes you have made.

How to login when changing registered mobile number:

After changing the phone number, users can still log in to the old ID LINK. You can do one of two ways below:

• Method 1: Choose to log in via mobile number ( Log in with mobile ). Retype the old phone number and password.
• Method 2: Select log in with ID ( Log in with LINK ID ), enter the ID and password.

Note: If you change your phone number, the program encourages you to update your personal information.

You can also use the above methods to log in to LINK when using another mobile device.

How to add friends on LINK:

Users can search for friends on LINK by going to Requests => Contacts to filter by contacts or search by name or ID.

How to block / report users on LINK:

In the Nearby tab, when visiting a user's personal page you want to block, you will see a Block / Report option , used to block or send a report to that user.

How to pin a chat in LINK:

Users can pin an important conversation to track and access quickly. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Access Contacts , select friends.
2. Click the Chat button.
3. Touch the icon in the top right corner of the chat window and press Pin .

How to unfriend on LINK:

1. Access Contacts .
2. Access to Friends , select the contact name you want to unfriend and click Unfriend .
3. Click OK to confirm.

How to set a nickname for a friend on LINK:

1. Access Contacts and select that friend.
2. Click the Chat button.
3. Click the icon in the top right corner of the chat window.
4. Touch the name of that user and enter the nickname you want to use.
5. Click Save to save the changes.

How to unblock users on LINK:

1. Access Settings menu settings => move to the blocked list Blocklist .
2. In this list, highlight the person you want to unblock and select Unblock .

How to add strangers to your friends list on LINK:

1. Move to the Nearby tab, tap a user to access their personal page.
2. On this page, click the Add Friend button to send a friend request.
3. After this person has accepted your request, their name will appear in the contact list in LINK.

In addition, users can also add you by the following:

1. Access Contacts .
2. Click + to search for friends by name or ID LINK.

How to handle harassment on LINK:

Harassment is a common thing on social networks or open chat applications. LINK users can apply one of the following when encountering this situation:

• Unfriend: Access Contacts, select the person who is bothering you, then access Friends and select Unfriend from the options that appear. Once completed, your name will disappear from the contact list of the other person.
• Block the user - Block : Access Contacts, select the user, click the icon in the right corner and select Block in the menu that appears. Once completed, the person who has been blocked will no longer be able to contact you.
• Report & Block - Report & Block : Similar to the above, access Contacts => select users => click the right corner icon => Report and Block and select the reason for reporting that user. After receiving your report, the development team will review that information and take appropriate actions.

How to invite friends to join LINK:

Users can access Contacts and press the + button to invite friends in the contacts or on Facebook to join LINK with me.

How to send a message to a friend:

After making friends with other users on LINK, you can find them in the contact section. Also in this Contacts tab, users can send messages to friends easily.

How to create a chat group on LINK:

• Method 1: Open a chat window, click the icon in the top right corner. Click Add and add another contact name to the conversation.
• Method 2: Access Contacts, press the + icon on the right of the screen. Click the Start Group Chat button and select the members you want to invite to the conversation.

How to exit group chat:

1. Access the Messages tab or Contacts and open the chat window.
2. Press the right corner button on the top of the screen and select Leave to exit the group chat.

Status update - Moment in LINK:

Access the Moments tab, touch the icon on the right of the screen and update the status then click Post to share to LINK.

How to send a voice message in LINK (voice clip):

1. Select a friend in LINK and open the chat window.
2. Click the microphone icon at the bottom left of the screen to open the voicemail mode.
3. Click the Microphone icon in the middle to record and release your hand to send the recorded Voice Clip. If you do not want to send, slide the screen up to cancel the operation.

How to save pictures uploaded by friends in LINK:

1. Touch that image.
2. Click the three dots icon across the right corner of the screen and click the Save button to save the image to your computer.

How to reply to comments for post status:

1. Visit Moments => Comments.
2. Select the comment you want to reply and enter the content.

How to report an invalid Moment:

Users can report if that Moment has the following problems:

• Has sensitive content, is not healthy.
• Moment is spam / phishing.
• Moment posted by fake account.
• Moment posted from a stolen account.

To report these Moments, follow the instructions below:

1. Visit that Moment . Click the '.' icon in the right corner of the screen.
2. Select Report on the reason for the report.
3. LINK will take care of the rest for you.

How to send feedback:

Go to Settings => About Link => Got Feedback? and enter your query in the information field provided.

How to delete chat history on LINK:

• Method 1: Go to Settings => Clear Chat History => select the conversation you want to delete and press Delete to confirm.
• Method 2: Open the chat window => select the icon in the right corner of the screen => Clear Chat History .

How to block non-contacts from contacting you:

Go to Settings => Privacy => Make Me Invisible . After enabling this option, your name will no longer appear in the People Nearby section, so other users on LINK will not know your existence.
