4 types of exercises in Mario Teaches Typing

Lesson 1: Mario's Smash & Dash

Mario's Smash & Dash exercise format helps players practice typing fast, right keys. Just control the character to run through a series of blocks and defeat the turtles. Each object in the game will be marked with stickers, on the sticker will have corresponding keys. Your task is to press those keys quickly to destroy enemies or break obstacles.

 

Lesson 2: Mario's Wet World Challenge

Mario's Wet World Challenge helps players practice typing quickly. With the screen playing underwater, you must control the main character to swim at the speed of typing, to type the right words on the screen to escape. There are all types of uppercase, lowercase and punctuation, you need to type correctly to pass the screen.

 

Lesson 3: Mario's Tunnel Of Doom

Mario's Tunnel Of Doom helps players practice typing with long sentences. Control the character running through a trap-filled tunnel, avoiding the falling blocks by typing exactly the sentences moving at the top of the screen. On the bottom you will see instructions on which finger to type the next word with.

Lesson 4: Mario's Expert Express

Essentially a 10-finger typing practice lesson where you will copy and re-type paragraphs under Mario supervision.

You will see that there are two white hands in each exercise, at which point there will be a colored finger, which is how Mario Teaches Typing instructs you to type. The colored finger is the finger to use to type the character to be displayed on the screen.

Each exercise will have a certain time to perform, for example, exercise 1 has a time of 2 minutes. When the time is up, the game will end, you will receive a notice board with statistics such as the number of keys typed, the number of errors made, the number of words per minute, the accuracy and the time taken exercise.

Unfortunately, the new app only supports older Windows operating systems, Windows 8 and Windows 10 are not yet supported.
