After a trial period from April 2018, Microsoft has officially released Office 2019 for Mac . Software includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, Access and Publisher.

Basically, Office 2019 is similar to Office 365 with features that have been updated continuously for the past 3 years. But Microsoft Office 2019 is a one-time purchase and permanently used, not a monthly fee like Office 365.
