Microsoft Safety Scanner 1.293.1846.0 is a simple, free and no-install antivirus tool from Microsoft. This is a brother version of Microsoft Security Essentials used for emergencies in a short time.

One of the advantages of this tool is that you only need to download and 'remove', no need to install or cumbersome registration like other software. This antivirus software, called Microsoft Safety Scanner, has just been introduced by the software giant.

This tool only includes a file with a size of about 77MB, built-in database of existing viruses. And according to Microsoft, the tool will expire 10 days from the date you download. The new tool has a very simple interface, supports three scanning modes including: Quick scan (quick scan of the partition where Windows is installed, where viruses and other malicious codes reside), Full scan (full scan partitions on the drive) and Customized scan (choose a folder to scan).

The usage is quite simple, you just need to double click on the downloaded file to run it.

Steps to use:

• Step 1: Click on the checkmark to agree with the terms of the manufacturer and click Next.
• Step 2: Then, you continue to click Next in the next window.
• Step 3: Next the program will ask you to choose a scan mode: fast scan, full scan or scan a specified folder.
• Step 4: Click Next and wait for the software to perform the 'task' to find and remove the virus.
• Step 5: After the removal is complete, the software will notify you about the status of the computer and the list of Viruses that have been removed. Click Finish to finish.
