The main character in the game Mountaineer is Jack - 1 guy passionate adventure exploration, even a little bit more freak anymore. Not liking the noisy life in the city, Jack moved to the mountains to live, considered it his home and tried to integrate with the natural world. He is good at climbing and jungle, understanding every terrain and the nature of each region.

Jack lives in a small town at the foot of the mountain, occasionally making a climbing trip to satisfy his passion. At the present time, he has been climbing for a few days and going quite far from town. Jack immersed in the fresh air with the sound of birds, animals howling and nature harmonious. But suddenly the storm swept over, he heard a loud bang. A plane crashed in the mountains and Jack decided to listen to the situation. Upon arriving at the scene, Jack sees a few people alive and decides to help them. Jack is now quite far from town and rescuing takes a long time. The only way to get these people back to town is to save them first. Food resources were limited, forcing Jack to actively seek food and drink so that both he and the other group could live. He must fight the cold in the high mountains, wild animals, hunger and thirst .

In the situation of exhausted resources, you must protect 2 strangers and yourself in the harsh natural environment on the snow-covered mountain. Collect firewood, fruit, and hunt to survive before finding a way out of this wilderness.

Your health index is calculated by HP, Hydration, energy and body temperature. If prolonged hydration and body temperature is too low, you will easily get sick and weak. Low energy level will reduce the movement speed and reflexes of the character. Players play as Jack to hunt bears, deer, wolves in the mountains and find ways to bring Larha and Anderton to the nearest village in Mount Kunlip.
