Completely "abandon" the mouse when surfing the web with "accessories" Mousless Browsing for Firefox.

If you have a habit of using the keyboard to speed up the work on Windows, you must "memorize" every Fifefox shortcut, from opening new tabs, closing tabs, moving tabs, scrolling pages up and down, etc. But you still need to use your mouse when you want to open any link on a website, especially if the site contains many links - clicking the "tab" bit by bit to find the right path is a torture. It's time you need a powerful "assistant" named Mouseless Browsing.

When installed, Mouseless Browsing will make you a little annoyed because . make the screen ugly, as shown below. But if you accept "living together", you will quickly realize the convenience of this add-on.

As shown in the picture, this add-on "attaches" the ordinal number for every link that appears on the site. You can choose to display numbers all the time, or choose to turn on / off with keyboard shortcuts. From now on, instead of having to use the mouse or click the tab key repeatedly to click on the link, you just need to type the number of the link, press the Enter key to go to the new page - very convenient and compact.

To completely dominate Mouseless Browsing, you can choose Tools> Addon> select Mousless Browsing and select Options

On the General tab, the Show ids only on demands function will automatically hide the entangled numbers. Adjust the shortcut for displaying / hiding these numbers at the Keys> Toggling visibility of ids on / off, with the default key being "." (Decimal). If you've turned on Firefox's auto-search function (Tools> Option> Advanced> Search for text when I start fighting), you'll need a different key combination instead of the default decimal key, which is here. is Ctrl + Shift.

Selecting Execute automatically without pressing Enter will open the new link as soon as you type the number without entering. Please do not select Use numpad exclusively for mouseless browsing because this function will completely lock the numlock keyboard on the right for Mouseless Browsing.

The Layout tab allows you to hide / show the number of links by type: text, image, etc. This section should be left as default.

The Style tab helps you customize the look and feel of ordinal numbers - also keep the default.

URL Rules: set separate rules for some paths. Normally, if you selected Show ids only on demands in the previous section, this can be left as default.

The Keys tab helps you set up shortcuts for a number of common actions during web browsing, from own Mouseless Browsing to opening / closing the browser history, scrolling up and down and so on. Usually, you only need to care about Toggling visibility of ids on / off.

This add-on has some compatibility issues, such as Google Reader not working with Mousless Browsing. You can fix it temporarily by disabling the addon in Tools> Addons, reloading the Google Reader page, and then Enable Mousless Browsing again.

Mouseless Browsing is a simple but extremely suitable accessory for users who do not like to use the mouse when surfing the web, or with laptop users. And once you get used to it, your "mouse" will be completely forgotten!
