Game Capture is the perfect mode for recording video games. Run Movavi Game Capture, select Game Capture mode and click Start, then Game Capture will minimize to the system tray.

Launch the game, and then press F10 on the keyboard. You will see yellow numbers in the upper left corner of the screen, indicating that the program is ready to start recording.

If you plan to record an online game displayed in a web browser, select the Online Video or Screencast capture mode.

Use F10 to start and stop recording the game you are currently playing. The yellow digits will turn green when the recording function is turned on. They show the current frames per second the game is being filmed in. Alternatively, you can pause and resume recording by pressing F9.

No more worrying about CPU usage when games and recording programs are launched at the same time. Integrated support for Intel Quick Sync Video technology allows you to avoid CPU performance loss.

Adjust settings

Selecting Game Mode will automatically set the maximum frame rate to 60 fps. If you don't really need the recording to run smoothly, go to Capture> Options> Video and change the frame rate to 50 or 30.

Choose an output frame size smaller than the full size to save hard drive space and minimize CPU usage.

If F10 and F9 are used in games with some action, you can change hotkeys in the Options tab> Hot Keys.

Video game store
