How to make a movie:

In the Start screen, open the Movie Moments application. Next, you can choose an existing video or record a new video.

The user can then use one of the following actions when creating the movie:

  • Delete scenes : move the button on the slider to the start and end position of the video. The maximum length of a usable video is 60 seconds.
  • Add a title or captions (add a title or comment to the video): click the Caption button, enter the text and click the Done button to finish. You can add comments or titles and highlight those lines in the frame.
  • Change the style of the title and captions : click the Caption button and use Styles to change the style and font used in the comment.
  • Add music (insert music): press the Music button and select a piece of music you want to use in the video. You can use the Preview feature to preview the video, in which you can track all effects as well as listen to the background music in the video.
  • Save : The newly created video will be saved in the same folder as the original video.
  • Make changes : press the Edit button to edit the video, preview the video before saving.
  • Post or email your film (upload videos to the Internet or send via email): users can use the Share option to share the newly created video with friends and relatives.
  • Start a new film : use the New film option by right-clicking on the program interface and selecting the above feature.

How to import videos:

  • Connect the camera, phone or external memory you want to use to the computer.
  • In the Start screen, open the Photos app. Right-click on the application and use the Import option.
  • Click on the device you want to import data to.
  • Next, select the photos and videos you want to click by marking each image or use Select all to select all.
  • Click the Import button to import data. Photos into the selected video will be moved to the Pictures folder in a subfolder named after the date entered.

How to cut video:

  • Open the video you want to crop using Photos , Camera or OneDrive .
  • Right click and use the Trim option to trim the video.
  • Move the button on the slider to the start position at the end of the video in the timeline. Click the Trim button to trim the video.

How to delete videos:

  • Select the videos you want to delete via the Photos , Camera or OneDrive apps. In Photos and OneDrive , you can select multiple videos or select all files in a folder.
  • Right-click and use the Delete option to delete the video.

How to share videos:

  • Users can share videos directly via the Photos , OneDrive and Camera apps in the Share charm.
  • Open one of the above applications.
    • When using Photos or OneDrive , access the folder containing the videos you want to share, right-click and select Share to share.
    • When using Camera , access Camera roll to search for videos to share. Next, move the mouse to the top right corner to bring up the toolbar, hover down and click the Share option to share the video.
