MP3Resizer 1.9.6 is designed to optimize the capacity of your mobile music players by reducing the size of mp3 files. It is especially useful when you listen to MP3 files or MP3 albums on your mobile phone, MP3 player, Pocket PC, etc.

For example, a 5 minute 256kbit MP3 file will take up nearly 9.15Mb. By compressing this file to 80kbit, the file size will actually be reduced to 2.86Mb

The size of the target file is 3 times smaller than the source file! Using MP3Resizer, you can save up to 3 times more music than before.

Experience: Don't rush to birate your mp3 file to 256kbps because the sound quality is not much improved but the music file size has increased significantly.

You can listen to the music file before deciding to increase or decrease the birate by clicking on the Preview File icon.

Please note that the reduction in file size is due to compression of the file at a lower bitrate. This may slightly reduce sound quality. The program uses Lame, a high quality MP3 codec. For songs played using a mobile phone's MP3 player, the recommended minimum bitrate should be 64kbps. The best and most commonly used MP3 format for music albums is: Mono, 8/16/24 kbps.
