NHMTTS SAPI5

The latest version of NHMTTS 4.0 provides users with multilingual reading tools (converting text into speech) and two Vietnamese male / female voices according to SAPI5 standard with quite natural voice quality. Especially, this software also allows the ability to read documents containing Vietnamese and other languages ​​simultaneously (for example: Vietnamese-English, Vietnamese-Chinese .). In addition, the software also allows adjusting the speed, frequency, pitch of the voice.

Configure NHMTTS Voices

To be able to read bilingual text including Vietnamese and a language other than Vietnamese with NHMTTS Voices, you need to specify Voices to read the non-Vietnamese text in combination with a corresponding voice of NHMTTS. The configuration is done as follows:

Start > Programs > NHMTTS SAPI5 Engine 4.0 > NHMTTS Voices Configuration

Select NHMTTS Voice (Female) from the list of NHMTTS Voice to configure the female voice.

Select the appropriate Voice to read text other than Vietnamese in the Non-VN Voice list. If you do not have the device, you must install the corresponding Voice for that language from other providers.

• Click the Test button and select OK to listen to the test.
• Adjust parameters such as speed, pause, intensity, pitch .
• Select Save to save.
• Continue to select NHMTTS Voice (Male) from the NHMTTS Voice list and follow the above steps to configure the male voice.

Read text with NHMTTS Voices

• After configuration, you can use reading software that supports SAPI5 communication such as NHMTTS SAPI5 Application or Jaws, NVDA . and select NHMTTS Voice (Male) or NHMTTS Voice (Female) to be able to read documents. Contains Vietnamese and another language specified when you configured in the previous step.
• Read text with NHMTTS SAPI5 Application: Start > Programs > NHMTTS SAPI5 Engine 4.0 > NHMTTS SAPI5 Application

• Enter the text to read into the box, or click the Open File button to open the .txt file containing the text to read. Note the program only supports Unicode text.
• Select the voice that is read in the Voice list.
• Adjust the rate of reading Rate and Volume .
• Select the sampling frequency of the synthesized voice in the Format list.
• Select Process XML if you enter XML scripts.
• Click the Speak button: read, Pause : pause, Stop : stop reading, Speak .wav: read the wav file, Reset: return to default, Save to .wav: export the .wav file, Voice Config: open the configuration program NHMTTS Voice Configuration, About: Program information.
