NTI Shadow is a tool that supports backing up multimedia files, office documents, Internet files, emails, . to storage devices inside, outside or on the network.

NTI Shadow makes the process of backing up, syncing, sharing, and storing your data, photos, videos, music files faster and simpler. This is really an effective backup solution along with many new features to support the user.

New in Shadow 5:

1. 64-bit - Shadow 5 is a 64-bit application.

2. Merge Folders - You can merge the contents of two existing folders and Shadow will automatically update the changes for both folders.

3. Shadow Agent - Helps you easily access and backup files to and from other computers on the same network.

4. Enhanced File Filtering - Shadow 5 will search your entire computer and back up selected files.

5. Smart email backup - Outlook.pst files are now under complete control for faster and more efficient backups.

Function:

One-dimensional shadow:

- Copy the selected source files and folders to their destination and then copy their changes.

Two-dimensional shadow:

- The source data is copied to the destination and then updated changes in the source data will be reflected in the destination or vice versa.

Merge folders:

- Combine contents of source folder and destination then control changes of both folders. Any changes in this folder will be reflected in the other folder.

Backup original file format:

- Shadow preserves files in their original format - meaning that no software is required to store them. You can easily store data by dragging and dropping files from one location to another.

Email backup:

- Outlook.pst files are intelligently controlled to save changes, reducing the time and space required for backups.

Flexible backup scheduling:

- Backup folders and files whenever there is a change to ensure the files are always synchronized.

- Schedule backup in minutes, hours or days.

- Select the days and days of the week to start your backup job.

File version:

- Shadow will store the old file version so you can undo whenever necessary. It allows you to switch back to a previously saved version quickly.

Easy file selection:

- Just select the files you need and Shadow will search your entire computer and then make a backup.

Network capabilities:

- Shadow Agent can detect and access files on other computers on the same network.

- Easily connect your computer directly to your computer via wireless Ad-hoc setup.

Quick recovery feature:

- Quickly select the data you want to restore from the backup destination and store that data to the original location or alternative location.

Optionally provide additional controls:

- Auto Deletion On / Off - automatically delete files on the backup destination when the source files have been deleted on your computer.

- Retain Full Path - backs up the entire data path instead of backing up individual files or folders.

- Capacity Alert - Shadow can alert you when there is only less space left on the storage device.

Detect USB device:

Automatically detect and verify USB storage devices associated with the backup job.
