The more programs you open, the more information Windows will store on them (so that when you open them again, the program will run faster). The more files that are opened, the more memory will become full, leading to the so-called 'swapping' of memory - Windows will call more virtual memory from the paging file (taken from a portion of the hard drive capacity). However, virtual memory will be inefficient because the speed of accessing data from the hard disk is much less than on RAM.

O&O CleverCache Server is a useful tool for managing the cache file of the computer. The program will allocate and organize the cache effectively, so that the data access is better and the system performance is guaranteed.

The program with the only feature is to allocate and arrange the cache memory combined with the user interface according to the simple Ribbon (similar to MS Office 2007, 2010), so users do not have to adjust anything at all. O&O CleverCache supports 3 modes (Profile tab) of caching.

- Automatic optimization : This mode automatically tweaks the cache and system balance.

- Maximize main memory : When selecting this mode, adjust so that the actual memory capacity (RAM) is the largest.

- Maximize file cache : This mode is adjusted so that the cache capacity (Cache file) is the largest.

A notable point in this version is that 2 features (always enabled by default) Mem-O-Safe and Mem-O-Free are improved.

+ Mem-O-Safe feature : Before the data is written to the hard drive, it will be saved on the cache. Instead of writing small, discrete data on a hard drive in succession, Windows gathers and automatically writes to the hard disk every 4 to 15 seconds. Mem-O-Safe will reduce the risk of data loss that may occur when the system fails.

+ Mem-O-Free feature : When the memory capacity falls below the allowed level, this feature will force Windows to save unnecessary data on the hard disk to free memory.
